Come to cook and eat,
Leave with a new community.

Kaixin Cooking is a hands-on class: expect to do everything from cutting to plating. All experience levels are welcome! We explore common and exotic Chinese ingredients, and delve into the why behind methods, flavors, and ingredients. A typical class has eight people from diverse backgrounds – locals, expats, parents, students, and busy professionals. The search for great healthy food is the thread that ties us together!

Fresh, Quality Ingredients For healthy Dishes.

Food safety can be a real concern in China, especially when food is made from cheap ingredients. We are proud to use FIELDS groceries for all of our classes. FIELDS is our favorite online grocery store in China. They work with local farms to source fresh, safe, and high quality vegetables and meats. They even conduct their own food testing for safety, pesticides, and organic standards. The best Chinese food deserves the best ingredients!

Dietary restrictions? No problem!

Vegan dumplings. Gluten-free soy sauce substitutes. Low-carb noodles. Vegetarian protein. We have creative and delicious ways to serve most dietary restrictions. Just let us know when you sign up for class, and we’ll have you covered.
